Rootbeer floats are teh awesomesauce.

But, well, how about other floatish consumables? There must be other things that, when mixed with icecream and carbonation approach wonderdom.

Yes, they called me mad...mad!

...and upon extensive/expensive experimentation...

Ice cream and cream soda, not too shabby, but gets a little blah.
Ice cream and tonic water...ehhh, worth trying?
Ice cream and Dr Pepper...maybe with chocolate ice cream?
Ice cream and cherry coke...with black cherry icecream. Worthy.
Ice cream and beer (in this case, brought to you by Yuengling-America's oldest brewery!)...the sweet creaminess of the icecream melds compellingly with the sharp-bitter hops flavour, into a feast for the discerning alchoholic who's also got a weight problem, plus--it'll get ya drunk!

Cheers.

Hey Ariella,

This doesn't have anything to do with the post above, but I was interested in finding out if you got a chance to see any of the Presidential debates and what you thought of them if you did.

I've been to Chik-fil-a and I don't think you are missing very much. I thought their chicken was bland, although i did like that they serve Diet Dr. Pepper.
