Have A Super Week
So apparently yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday, and tomorrow is supposed to be Super Tuesday, though it’s also Fat Tuesday. Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, which isn’t quite as “super” as those other days, or else it would be called Super Ash Wednesday.
Though it does mark the beginning of Lent which if I understand my theology commemorates the miracle of Fishermen’s Friday Buffets three kinds of shrimp.
Also, Lent is the only time of year Catholic girls are allowed to give it up.
But anyway today is just Plain Old Boring Old Monday. Not that Monday isn’t pretty great. I mean all the stores that still actually close on the weekend are open again, and lots of webcomics get updated.
Paris and Judy and practically everybody else I know grumbles and groans about having to go back to work on Monday, of course, but I don’t know what they’re complaining about. Sure I don’t exactly have what you might call a “real job” but that just means I don’t get to take a nice two-day-long break every week. Because let me tell you something: the squirrels never sleep.
Seriously.
Even if you see one that looks like it’s asleep, it’s faking.

You know, for a week or so one of my neighbors has been letting his sheep out on the field down the hill from me. I never even knew he had sheep. It’s really suspicious…
And they’re not all sheep either. It’s like, three goats, four sheep, and a llama. Which is really strange, because before that I never seen sheep in groups smaller than fourty. And they never had a llama with them.

Wait, you said sleep! I’ve never noticed any suspicious sleep…
…
…
Which may in itself be suspicious.

Llamas like sheep and goats and are cheap insurance against wolf, coyote and feral dog attacks. Such predators would be lucky to get away, llamas are big, smart and aggressive when threatened. Llamas rock. Err, Fr L, was the llama wearing a yellow robe? If so that’s a “Lama” less useful against wild dogs but may still rock.
