It is a good thing for you to have tried car rentals. It's one option to consider if you don't own a car yet. If you are hesitant to ask a friend to borrow his car then this would be best option. You can be secure plus you won't have second thoughts to use it since you are paying good amount of money for it. Car rentals have spread in our town. These are for people who still can't buy a personal car. Of course people got to places and some see that it's practical to just rent a car than commuting. Instead of budgeting for fair, they are more willing to just pay it as rent and have the car. My friend suggested a car rental shop when my family and I planned a vacation out of town. It was an option for us since we don't own a car back then. I didn't regret renting one because it was enjoyable and now I know that it is more convenient.

My nuptial is fast approaching in few months and until now I still haven’t finished the final guest list. I am worried that some relevant details might be ignored and would affect the overall result of the occasion.

I know exactly what you mean!

My biggest pet peeve is when cars pull out at a corner and stop right in the pedestrian walkway when you're trying to cross the road. I mean, PEDESTRIANS HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY, don't we? We're discriminated against just for walking! It makes me want to carry a baseball bat and whack out their headlights and their windshields and their windows and their faces...

Not that I would do something like that, I'm a pacifist. At least, not more than once.

I know what you mean about books of manners lacking stuff. I think you would be good at the advice column thing. You could answer questions like "Is it rude to swap plates with somebody at a different table in a restaurant when they aren’t looking if you think what they ordered looks better than what you ordered?" I mean I didn't know that. They sure got excited over it though. I mean really, was it any reason for the mait ... head waiter to make me leave the restaurant? And then he got even madder when I asked for the food I ordered in a doggy bag as he closed the door in my face.
